The
Hotel bar is just ‘one long down-hill putt' away from the
most famous patch of green grass in the world of golf –
the 18th on the Old Course. Golf Place is steeped in Golfing
folklore; built in 1824 as the game was fast gaining popularity,
it housed many of the key players in history and hosted
the very first tournaments. There are a dozen shops on our
doorstep, the Castle, Cathedral, and the oldest part of
the University are a mere 5 minute stroll up the road, as
is the New Byre Theatre for live entertainment.
The
